Hello! Thanks for visiting my website. My name is David Prendergast and I love studying and experimenting with as many genres of photography as possible. I originally trained using film cameras in the 1990s when preparing for my ethnographic fieldwork as part of my doctoral studies. Since then, digital photography and filmmaking have formed important components of my work, but as importantly have become tools for artistic expression and personal fulfilment. Outside my duties as a University Professor of Anthropology, I particularly enjoy exploring landscapes with my camera and occasionally accept commissions for portraits and events.
